Mono Boy Records now has its own domain name - monoboy.com. Personally, I find this to be really cool, especially since monoboy.com had been registered for a while. Same web site, new name.

lots of Center of the Earth news. quick summary: Ryan has decided to leave the band. no hard feelings. Center will continue to rock on regardless. Ryan will be doing one last show with the band on Feb. 28 at UMass Lowell. everyone wishes him well.

the fourth Mono Boy release, the self-titled CD by Center of the Earth, is being released on September 6, 2001. it was recorded primarily by the master of the basement, Jeremy "Butch Vig" Houle, except for the big hit single "Sleeper" which was recorded in a fancy recording place by Mark "Nigel Godrich" Whittaker. it all sounds very good. be sure to check out Center's upcoming shows including the CD release show at UMass Lowell on September 6 with Piebald and the Damn Personals!
